Collection: Evergreen

I began this collection in early December as the days got colder and the familiar feeling of dread began to creep in. I used to dread the winter. When the leaves disappeared and the world felt dull—I missed the green, I missed the light.

Everything changed when I started painting.

I realized that art is its own form of nature. An everlasting one. A way to gather light and hold onto it, no matter the season.

Now winter feels like a blank canvas to me. When the landscape loses its color, I feel this pull to create it myself. It’s as if the absence of it makes the making sweeter. The leaves may fall, but we have the ability to let them linger.

Because even in the dead of winter, art is evergreen ✨
